Got Questions? We've Got Answers.
Everything you need to know before taking the first step.
Do I need teaching experience to apply?
Not at all. Safer Plus is designed specifically for beginners. We provide everything you need — including your TEFL certificate — to get you classroom-ready from scratch.
What certificates will I receive?
You'll receive a 120-hour internationally accredited TEFL certificate and a C1 English certificate. Both are recognized globally and will strengthen your profile as a teacher.
How long does the whole process take?
From application to placement, the process typically takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on your availability and how quickly you complete your certificates.
Do I need to speak Vietnamese?
No. English is the language you'll be teaching, and most schools operate fully in English. You do not need any knowledge of Vietnamese to live and work comfortably.
What type of schools will I be placed in?
We place teachers in a variety of settings including language centers, private schools, and international academies across Vietnam — matching you based on your profile and preferences.
Is accommodation provided?
We assist you in finding suitable accommodation before you arrive. While housing is not automatically included, our team actively helps you secure a safe and affordable place to stay.
What happens when I land in Vietnam?
We arrange an airport pickup so you're never left figuring things out alone. Our on-ground team is available to help you settle in during your first days in the country.
How much can I earn as a teacher in Vietnam?
English teachers in Vietnam typically earn between $1,400 and $2,500 USD per month depending on qualifications, location, and school type. Combined with Vietnam's low cost of living, it goes a long way.
What support do I get after placement?
Our support doesn't stop once you're placed. We stay in touch, help resolve any issues with your school, and remain available via WhatsApp throughout your entire contract.
Can I teach in Vietnam wearing a hijab?
Unfortunately, Vietnam's school culture and dress code standards are generally conservative and uniform-focused. Most schools do not permit the wearing of religious head coverings in the classroom. We recommend reaching out to our team directly so we can guide you toward the most suitable options for your situation.
